Professional Development Day

On Friday, March 27, ChurchillCSD staff came together for our Greenwave PD Day, and it was a day to remember. We kicked things off with an inspiring message from adventurer and author John Beede, who shared powerful lessons on goal setting, perseverance, and leadership from his journey to the summit of Mount Everest.

From there, our staff jumped into conference-style learning, attending sessions led by their fellow educators. From instructional strategies and technology integration to social-emotional learning and hands-on classroom ideas, the day was centered on learning from one another and growing together for our students.

Our incredible CCHS Culinary students, led by Mrs. Alisha White, kept everyone fueled throughout the day with snacks and lunch from the Wave on Wheels food truck, and it was a huge hit.

Most importantly, the day brought all of our staff together in one place. The collaboration, the conversations, and the shared commitment to students made it something special.

As we continue through this final week before a well-deserved spring break, we are proud of our team and grateful for the work they do every single day. You are all truly Making an Impact! 🙌💛
