Superintendent Search 2026
The Churchill County School District (ChurchillCSD) announces that Superintendent Derild Parsons will retire at the conclusion of the 2025-26 school year, marking the end of a distinguished period of service to the district and the Fallon community.
In preparation for this leadership transition, the ChurchillCSD has contracted with Modern EducateHR, an executive search firm specializing in educational leadership, to conduct a comprehensive search for the district’s next superintendent.
Churchill County School District has launched a dedicated Superintendent Search webpage to provide transparent and centralized information for our community and prospective applicants. Visitors will find the Superintendent job announcement, application packet, and direct links to apply, as well as a stakeholder survey to share feedback in the selection process. The page also includes general information about our district, and access to the Modern Educate HR landing page created specifically for this search.

The Churchill County School District is pleased to announce its participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) for the 2025-2026 school year.
Families are encouraged to complete the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine eligibility for meal assistance through these programs. Applications are available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
If you experience any difficulties accessing Infinite Campus or need an access code, please contact the district at 423-5184 or email parentinfo@churchillcsd.com for assistance.
