2024-27 Churchill County School District Board Goals
GOAL 1
Students graduating from the Churchill County School District in four years to increase
from 84.1% at the end of 2023-24 school year to 90% in 2026-2027 school year.
GOAL 2
At the end of June 2027, the district wide average daily attendance rate will improve to
95% to ensure opportunities for growth and development by recognizing the
importance of attendance.
GOAL 3
At the end of June 2027, the district wide chronic absenteeism rate will drop to 20% to
ensure opportunities for growth and development by recognizing the importance of
attendance.
GOAL 4
The percent of students who qualify as CTE End of Program Completers at Churchill
County School District will increase by 10% (17 students) from the 2023-2024 school
year to 188 students at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.
GOAL 5
The percentage of students who meet or exceed the state’s proficiency targets in grades
3 through 8 and 11 on the state’s mathematics assessment (SBAC and ACT) will increase
by 15% in the cohort from 2024 to 2025 school year to the 2026-2027 school year.
GOAL 6
Reading achievement is a Guardrail (math goes up but reading does not go down at the
same time).
