Free & Reduced Meal Program

Churchill County School District is pleased to announce our participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP). Click the button below for important information about the programs, including eligibility criteria for free and reduced price meals for qualifying students. 

Public Release for Free and Reduced Priced Meals

The Churchill County School District is returning to the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Program for the upcoming school year. We encourage all families to complete an application, even if you think you may not qualify. Learn more about what this means, how to apply, updated meal prices, and payment options.

What Does This Mean?
Families will need to complete a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application to determine eligibility for meal assistance.

• If your student qualifies, they will receive free or reduced-price meals depending on your income. 
• If your student does not qualify, you will be responsible for paying full price for school meals.

Meal Prices

Effective at the start of the school year, the following prices will be in place:

• Full-Priced Breakfast:
  $2.00 (PreK-12th Grade)
   
• Full-Priced Lunch:
  $3.25 - Elementary School (PreK-5th Grade)
  $3.75 - Middle School (6th-8th)
  $4.00 - High School (9th-12th)
  *Middle & High School students are served larger portions, resulting in higher meal prices*
   
• Reduced-Price Breakfast:
  $0.30 (PreK-12th Grade)
   
• Reduced-Price Lunch:
  $0.40 (PreK-12th Grade)
