Start & End Times 2025-2026
Churchill County School District has finalized school start and end times for the 2025-2026 school year. The only change this year is at Lahontan Elementary School, where Kindergarten and first-grade students will now be dismissed at the same time as E.C. Best and Numa Elementary.
We understand that coordinating pickups at multiple schools may be challenging. To support families, each elementary site has a plan in place to supervise students after school if a parent or guardian is delayed.
The listed dismissal times indicate when students will be ready for pickup and mark the beginning of our dismissal window at each school. Our staff will be present to supervise any students who need to wait a few extra minutes.

Class Schedules, Teacher Assignments & Pre-K Letters
School Supply Lists (English & Spanish)
Supply lists for the 2025–2026 school year are provided below in both English and Spanish.
Please note that these are general supply lists from each school. Your student’s teacher may provide a different supply list with additional items needed for their classroom or may omit some items from the general list.
Students at CCMS and CCHS may have classes that require more specific supplies, so please be aware that the list you receive from your child’s teacher could vary.
2025-2026 Transportation Request Form
Planning to use district transportation this school year? A new transportation application is required, even if your student rode the bus last year.
👉 Apply here: bit.ly/CCSDTransportationRequest25-26
🚍 Transportation is available for all K–12 COUNTY students.
📍 K–8 students living within city limits and more than ½ mile from school may access designated bus stop sites.
⚠️ Please note: Due to high demand, many bus routes have reached capacity and are now operating with waitlists. Families who submit an application will be notified if their student is placed on a waitlist. You will need to arrange alternate transportation until a seat becomes available. Please do not send your student to the bus stop unless you have received confirmation that they have been assigned to a bus.
📲 Have you downloaded the StopFinder app yet?
We highly recommend it! Get real-time updates, route info, and peace of mind—because when it comes to your child’s safety, information is everything.
