First Day of School 2025 is in the books!

Superintendent Parsons spent the day visiting classrooms across ChurchillCSD and had the chance to see students and staff in action. From learning their SOPs, reviewing syllabi, and checking out Chromebooks, to enjoying lunch service, getting to know each other, and settling into routines, it was a strong start to the year.

Along the way, he answered questions for students, helped some navigate the high school hallways, and even read special notes that parents tucked into their children’s lunchboxes.

Assistant Superintendent Mike Walker was also out in schools today, supporting lunch service, helping students with tricky snack packages, and checking in across the district.

From the classroom to the cafeteria, it was a true team effort to make the first day a success. Thank you to our parents and guardians for everything you do to support your students and help them start the year strong, to our community for supporting a smooth start, and to our local law enforcement for assisting with traffic and safety. Of course, a huge shoutout goes to our amazing principals, teachers, and staff for creating such a welcoming first day and for all the work you put in before the school year even begins to make today possible.

And last but certainly not least, we want to thank our students for showing up with curiosity, kindness, and excitement. We cannot wait to see all you will achieve this year!
